Important changes for multi-unit dwellings of 50 or more lots

OCs with more than 50 lots are now required by law to implement a maintenance plan, enabling them to predict and budget for future maintenance expenses.

Once an OC has adopted a maintenance plan, it must then create a maintenance fund and issue levies to cover the cost of the future works noted. Furthermore, the OC is required to report on implementation of the plan at each Annual General Meeting.

Property photos for OCs to easily identify maintenance issues in the instance they may not be able to physically attend site.
